I WATCHED THE TRADITIONAL WIND TURBINES IN WINDSTORMS REORIENTATE FROM THE POWER OF THE WIND JUST TO REDIRECT THEMSELVES INTO THE DIRECTION OF THE WIND, BUT THE BLADES WOULDN'T SPIN.

SO THERE WAS ENOUGH ENERGY IN THE WIND TO MOVE THE ENTIRE MASS OF THE SYSTEM, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY GET THE BLADES MOVING, WHICH ARE OBVIOUSLY THE PIECE THAT PRODUCES POWER FOR YOU.

SO WHAT IT BECAME IS AN EXTREMELY EFFICIENT WAY TO HARNESS WIND IN MORE URBAN ENVIRONMENTS.

SO, WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS JUST ONE OF OUR LITTLE TEST BENCHES.

IT'S A VERY CRUDE BENCH.

SO WE JUST HAVE THE TURBINE, COUPLE CIRCUIT BREAKERS, AND I CAN ACTUALLY SHOW YOU THE POWER FROM THE TURBINE.
