More than 210 million gallons of crude oil spilled into the Gulf of Mexico during the spring and summer of 2010 from the Deepwater Horizon oil well. Oil companies cut back on their operations

Here in the fracking-induced oil boom, U.S. oil production has skyrocketed.  Now some oil companies are cutting back on their operations and hoping to reduce waste in the process.
