The first African American woman to become a master plumber

Adrienne Bennett is America’s first female African-American master plumber. She was contracted to design the plumbing system in Comerica park, home of the Detroit Tigers. Up next, Adrienne explains the complexities of her work, and shares a preview of her current project.

FIRST Robotics Lab

Across the country, kids as young as six years old are designing, building, and battling their very own robots. Through the non-profit organization, FIRST, each year hundreds of thousands of elementary, middle, and high school students take part in robotics competitions jumpstarting a lasting interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.
